June 12, 2020Just wanted to give you another testimonial since it’s been a year since my last one- I am still using your spice blends in EVERY meal! It is rare for me to make a dish without a BAKH spice. I love cooking and experimenting with new ideas and these spices help every new dish be a hit! I am still constantly telling everyone who will listen about BAKH. Recently visiting friends used Whistling Coyote (hands down my favourite spice by the way) in their Caesars instead of Burnt Canoe and they were a hit.

December 1, 2019I think EVERY thing I make gets a sprinkle ofBurnt Canoe!! Love it! I made a vegetable quinoa soup and a beef macaroni casserole today and use it in both. I will admit, I didn't use it in my banana bread today though! I've been making a turkey quinoa meatloaf for years and use the BC in it last time. Dave admitted it was the most tastiest I had ever made! My chili is also fantastic now!

November 23, 2019Got me someBurnt Canoetoday, used it on BBQ pork chops tonite, was fabulous. Just put the spice on chops and served with potatoes, asparagus (butter & garlic sauteed) & mixture of beet pickles with my homemade horseradish, was all delicious.

Our own fresh vegetables from our garden. Supper tonight was outstanding! The pepper flavours in the spice went well with the beef! Not too salty, just right!

July 23, 2019We used one of the Be a Kitchen Hero spice blends (sorry, it's a secret which one!) in a recent BBQ Smoker Competition for our pulled pork entry. For our 2nd ever team competition, we came in 4th place with it. Judges and competitors all loved the flavour and taste! March 19, 2019I picked upRaving Loonwhile at the 'What Women Want' Show last weekend, and was asked to let you know what I thought about it. Well, I’m in love with this addition to my collection. There is a lot more to this product than the heat: Flavour profile is smooth and rich, with only a slight smoke addition. The heat is perfect, and doesn’t overwhelm the senses. I first used this on slow cooked pork ribs and this seasoning complimented but didn’t compete with the great taste of the meat.Also, it is Keto friendly. Bonus!

June 18, 2018So I got some new Be a Kitchen Hero spices and had to try my hand with the Moose of Mumbai tonite . Dry marinated chicken thighs with it all day then tossed in a bit of lemon olive oil from Oliv and put on my Pampered Chef Grill Mat. Sliced chunks of peaches with bit lemon oil and some Mumbai and tossed in a drizzle of a Coconut Balsamic too!!peppers got the Pineapple Rum Grilling Sauce and decide to brush bit on the thighs to finish. Of course we had rice in the PChef Microwave Rice Cooker!! Happy Dave once again!!

opened them all for a little taste test! I was so very impressed with all of
them! Such flavour! So far I have used the whistling
coyote with butter on a purple yam and carrot side dish and it was
amazing! Also I used the Mexican spice (Red Guitar) on
chicken breasts to make quesadillas and it was superb as well! Am going to try

July 22, 2020Since I now have ordered twice from your spice company and you have written 2 notes I thought I should let you know why and how I found out about your company. A friend of mine here in Houston, Texas has a summer home in Canada. I can't even tell you the little island they are on. They come up to Canada every summer. Last summer when they were there she picked up a container of Raving Loon and gave it to me for a little gift. I really like the recipe for the chicken marinade that is on the recipe card you sent. It takes a 1/4 cup so I can go through a jar pretty easily. I grill a lot of chicken breast and freeze them. Then I ordered another jar of the Raving Loon and you sent me a sample of Burnt Canoe. My husband and I are not big on putting a lot of spices on steak but that spice is a game changer. So, I thought I better order a container of the Burnt Canoe and since it is very expensive for shipping from Canada I thought I'd order another Raving Loon for me and then I thought would order a container of the Raving Loon and the Burnt Canoe for my 2 adult children (who live in New York City). I plan to give them those as gifts (actually they may become Christmas presents). They also love to cook. Hence why so much was purchased. I have really not done anything with those 2 spices except the chicken and made the steaks. Thanks for your notes. Wish you'd get a way to distribute in the States!!
